Concept

The projects redefines the notion of hospitality, as an outdoor habitation in relation to the physical environment. The boundaries of the interior are extended to the outer stone wall which prevents the public views and the strong winds of the island. The experience of the habitation takes place in a secret garden with a spectacular sea view, among textures and odours that emerge from the materials of the place.

Πρόταση

Η πρόταση επαναπροσδιορίζει το ζήτημα της φιλοξενίας ως υπαίθρια κατοίκηση με το φυσικό περιβάλλον του τόπου. Τα όρια του εσωτερικού καταργούνται και επεκτείνονται μέχρι τον εξωτερικό πέτρινο τοίχο που αποκόπτει τα βλέμματα και τους ισχυρούς ανέμους του νησιού. Η εμπειρία της κατοίκησης λαμβάνει χώρα σε ένα μυστικό κήπο με μοναδική θέα στη θάλασσα ανάμεσα, σε υφές και μυρωδιές που αναδύονται από τα υλικά του τόπου.
