Concept
The permanent exhibition space is organized on a grid on a unified flattened subterranean surface under a complex of megalithic constructions of auxiliary spaces and lights wells. The spatial organization of the exhibition defines paths and blocks of chronological entities and thematic sections, allowing the visitor to freely move among them, constantly interrelate to them on the intersections and finally create a personal narration itinerary. The subterranean positioning of the main exhibition space is considered essential to the identification of the character of the new museum, the establishment of a strong reference to the excavation process and the notion that the archaeological artifacts finally return to their original context.

Πρόταση
Ο κύριος χώρος έκθεσης οργανώνεται σε ένα υπόγειο επίπεδο κάτω από ένα ορθοκανονικό σύμπλεγμα μεγαλιθικών κατασκευών που περιλαμβάνουν τις βοηθητικές χρήσεις και αγωγούς διάχυτου φωτός. Η χωρική οργάνωση συγκροτεί διαδρομές και περιοχές οργανωμένες κατά χρονολογική σειρά που περικλύουν τις θεματικές ενότητες, επιτρέποντας τους επισκέπτες να μπορούν συνεχώς να τις συσχετίζουν με τα αρχαιολογικά τεκμήρια. Η υπόγεια τοποθέτηση της έκθεσης αποτελεί καθοριστική επιλογή για τη διαμόρφωση του χαρακτήρα και τη νοηματική διασύνδεση του με τους χώρους εκσκαφής όπως και της άποψης ότι τα τεκμήρια επιστρέφουν τελικά στο περιβάλλον από το οποίο προήλθαν.
